Maves Self Tanning Mitt & Blending Brush, 2-Piece Self Tan Applicator Kit
A 2-piece self-tanning applicator kit that pairs a double-sided tanning mitt for broad body coverage with a precision blending brush for smaller, trickier areas like the face, neck, hands, wrists, ankles, knees and elbows.
The mitt is built with a 3-layer construction: crystal-soft 100% polyester velvet on both application sides, a cushioned polyurethane middle layer, and a TPU inner barrier designed to stop self-tanner from bleeding through onto your hands. A flexible elastic cuff keeps it secure while you work. The blending brush adds dense synthetic bristles on a smooth bamboo handle with an aluminum ferrule, giving you the control a mitt alone can’t for smaller contours. It’s designed to work with mousses, foams, lotions, creams and gradual tanners, and the kit comes with a resealable Maves pouch to keep both pieces together between uses.
Why It Actually Works
Most streaky self-tans don’t come from bad formula, they come from bad application tools. A mitt alone can cover your arms and legs quickly and evenly, but it tends to over-apply around joints, hands and the face where a heavier hand shows up as dark patches. Having a dedicated blending brush for those detail zones means you can go in with a lighter, more controlled touch exactly where mitts usually mess up, while the TPU barrier layer means you’re not left scrubbing tanner off your own palms afterward. Since the mitt and brush are washable and reusable, this replaces disposable application gloves for anyone who self-tans regularly.
Good For / Watch Out For
Good for: anyone applying mousse, lotion or cream self-tanner who wants even, streak-free coverage plus real control around ankles, knees, hands and the face. Also good if you’re tired of stained palms from bare-hand application. Watch out for: this is an applicator kit only, self-tanning formula is not included, and being a newer release it doesn’t have a large ratings history yet, so you’re buying on build quality and design rather than thousands of reviews.
