Poop bags are one of the most reordered dog supplies, and two of the most-reviewed options on Amazon are the Amazon Basics 300-count set with a dispenser and the Earth Rated refill rolls. Here is how the two listings compare.
Amazon Basics Dog Poop Bags with Dispenser and Leash Clip (300 Count)
Listed on Amazon for $7.99, rated 4.8 out of 5 stars from about 244,700 customer ratings. The listing describes unscented, leak-proof 13 x 9 inch large bags that come with a dispenser and leash clip.
Good for: a low price per bag and a ready-to-clip dispenser.
Watch out for: the bags are unscented, and the listing does not say they are compostable.
Earth Rated Dog Poop Bags on Refill Rolls (270 Bags, Lavender)
Listed on Amazon for $8.98, rated 4.8 out of 5 stars from about 250,600 customer ratings. The listing describes extra-thick, leak-proof bags on refill rolls with a lavender scent.
Good for: people who want scented bags on easy refill rolls.
Watch out for: the lavender scent is not for everyone, and rolls may need a separate dispenser.
Quick take: both have very high ratings. Pick the Amazon Basics set if you want the dispenser and the lowest price, or Earth Rated if you prefer a scent and refill rolls.
